Was a reasonable base for christmas. The location was great and lovely and the free parking was onsite. Again, the hotel was just a pleasant stroll away from Church of st Andrew. We appreciated rooms in the leisure facilities.

The hotel itself was a beautiful manor house, it had lots of character. We stayed in one of the little cottages and it was very nice. However the best asset was the staff. Every member of staff we spoke to were so friendly, yet professional. For years I worked in customer service and know that people/staff are extremely important. Your staff are a credit to the hotel. The hotel was in Shifnall and it was lovely to be able to walk out into the village. I would highly recommend your hotel to all/everyone and would certainly stay again if we ever travel to the area.
The following are trivial in the scheme of things, and we did not point them out until we left the hotel:- Lighting in rooms very poor, light in dressing/wardrobe area did not work at all. We ordered superior room with kingsize bed, but got a double bed, iron was unuseable due to having burnt residue on it, However these things considered I would definitely stay again, but next time wewould contact reception immediately if we were disappointed with any part of our room.
